Harris OnPoint’s Asolva Co-Authors Kaiser Permanente Division of Research Study
Leon Babakhanian, Operations Manager (Asolva), recently co-authored Clinical decision support to Optimize Care of patients with Atrial Fibrillation or flutter in the Emergency department: protocol of a stepped-wedge cluster randomized pragmatic trial (O’CAFÉ trial). Babakhanian and Asolva helped to create a custom tool that was embedded in Epic to support clinicians at the point of care. With the tool, length of stay is reduced and patients are able to be discharged quicker with home medicine versus remaining inpatient at the hospital.
